Junior Sales Manager – Engineering Plastics (m / f / d) – TURKEY

Summary:

Our client is a global corporation with products and solutions used in a number of different industries. Their Polymer Division offers a wide range of specialised thermoplastic solutions tailored for individual needs of their customers. These materials enable their clients to innovate their products, ranging from interior/exterior parts of home appliance and electronic equipment to energy, medical devices and cutting-edge automotive parts.


Your Tasks:

• Establishing customer relationships at all commercial and technical levels to ensure project progression.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Providing commercial service to our customers, in particular support for material selection, part- and mould construction as well as processing and customer claim management.
• Application development in new markets, especially in the automotive industry as well as home appliance, energy, construction, household and medical sectors.
• Ongoing communication of integration across field to manage developing project among customer, sales team and HQ.
• Market research and benchmarking: Procurement of market information and identifying trends for product optimization and to develop new products and materials.

 

Your Profile:

• University/College degree is required, preferably in plastics or chemical engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or application development operations.
• Distinct communication skills and strong service orientation as well as social competence in dealing with different cultures.
• Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as a proactive and independent approach.
• Competence in business principles, including pricing strategies, volume growth metrics and contract negotiations.
• Understanding of plastics market in Turkey, knowledge of key players, market trends, regulations & customer needs.
• Fluency in English and Turkish languages, with skills in MS Office Suite and SAP.
• No military obligation for male candidates.
