Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Technical project manager for new and ongoing projects.
  • Technical point of contact for polymer related processes and products for clients in eastern Europe, but mainly is responsible for Poland.
  • Technical service for customers, in particular support in the selection of materials, part and mould construction and processing.
  • Design, develop and validate technical, manufacturing scalable, and economic feasibility for new polymer technologies.
  • Initiate and lead projects to advance technologies from concept to application to implementation readiness.
  • Complete testing and characterization of test samples and components per standardized methods and corporate performance requirements.
  • Organize and direct prototyping trials for design verification and validation testing.
  • Market Research and Benchmarking: providing information and trends for product optimization and new product planning for future materials and applications.
  • Organization of customer training and coordination of samples.
  • Applicants must have the ability to work in Poland, travel regularly to customers mostly in Eastern Europe and to a Sales Office in Slovakia.

 

Profile:

  • Ideally 5+ years of work experience in technical service/application development of polymer business.
  • BSc or MSc in chemical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment with across multiple sites in Europe.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • High customer service orientation.
  • Fluent in Polish and high proficiency in the English and/or in the Slovak language is essential.
